What are the recommanded medical tests for employees working in Hazrdous process unit as per factories act in Maharashtra

As per factories act 1948 and further notified and amended by Government of Maharashtra specifies that every person working in factory premises including open or closed shed & all the area that constitutes the factory premise and person working in that premise on roll, contractual or otherwise are required to undergo health check at least once a year for factories like or twice a year depending upon the risk and hazardous process involved.
Factories Act of 1948 defines a “hazardous process” as any activity or process related to an industry specified in the First Schedule, where, unless special care is taken, raw materials, intermediates, finished products, by-products, wastes, or effluents thereof would cause material impairment to the health of the person.
If your factory if there is any of the process is involved which is hazardous in nature like chemicals, gases etc then these companies need to carry out health check every six months for the employees handling, working with or in comes in contact with these items. For all other factories where there is no or very limited use of these items can under health check as per below list.

5) Total Cholesterol
6) Urine Routine
7) AFB Sputum
8) Pulmonary Function Test.
9) Chest X-Ray
